Job Description Job Description Accounts Payable Specialist - Contract-to-Hire Location: Ann Arbor, MI (Hybrid after training) Compensation: $24-$26 per hour (based on experience) Company: LHH Recruitment Solutions, on behalf of our client LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected client in Ann Arbor, MI, to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a Contract-to-Hire opportunity. This position offers hybrid flexibility after training and is ideal for a detail-oriented AP professional eager to join a collaborative, fast-paced accounting team. Key Responsibilities: Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner Verify invoice coding, approvals, and supporting documentation Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Prepare weekly payment runs and assist with check, ACH, and wire processing Maintain AP files and ensure compliance with internal controls Assist with month-end close activities as needed Communicate with internal departments and vendors to resolve AP issues Qualifications: Previous experience in Accounts Payable required Strong understanding of invoice processing, vendor management, and AP workflows Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting/ERP systems Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment Why This Opportunity: Contract-to-Hire role offering long-term career potential Hybrid schedule available after training Competitive compensation: $24-$26/hr , depending on experience Supportive team environment with opportunities for growth If you are an experienced AP professional seeking your next opportunity in the Ann Arbor area, we encourage you to apply!
