Job Description Job Description We are seeking motivated and licensed 'Class A Drivers' to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating our truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds gross vehicle weight. If you have experience with gravel trains, leads and flow-boys, D & L Contracting co is the place to be! At our company, we are always looking for hard working drivers. We work all over Metro Detroit, servicing many construction companies. D & L offers TOP PAY dependent on experience and work ethic. If you would like to join our team, please refer to the information below: Responsibilities: Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck/18 speed Dumping loads/asphalt-paving Properly track and document activity log Report any issues or incidents to dispatch Pre-Trip and Post-trip logs Maintaining a clean cabin Daily check of tractors fluid levels Fueling up tractors at end of work day Long Hours Weekend Work (Alternative Work Schedule) Qualifications: Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields Commercial driver's license Ability to handle physical workload Strong work ethic Able to drive gravel trains, flow boys, leads Pass a DOT regulated drug test Pass an employer road test. (PAY NEGOTIATED DAY OF ROAD TEST) Paid holidays/vacation after 1 year service
