Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A K-12 Special Education Teacher opportunity is
available in Saginaw, MI, offering a contract through the next
school year with a focus on resource room and self-contained
classroom instruction. This role serves mostly self-contained
classrooms with a caseload of up to 22 students spanning early
learning (pre-K and up) through grade 12. Candidates will work
full-time, approximately 35 hours per week, beginning around March
2, 2026, through June 12, 2026. Preferred candidates hold Michigan
Teacher Certification with endorsements in Emotional Impairment
(EI) and Cognitively Impaired (CI). Resource Room applicants with a
Learning Disabilities (LD) endorsement are also considered.
Applicants should be comfortable teaching in an urban district
environment and committed to addressing the unique challenges faced
by urban students and families. Familiarity with the Michigan
Administrative Rules for Special Education (MARSE) and IDEA federal
regulations is beneficial. Key qualifications and desired
experience: Valid Michigan Teacher Certificate with EI and CI
endorsements preferred; LD endorsement accepted for Resource Room
roles Experience with self-contained special education classrooms
or resource room settings Knowledge of MARSE and IDEA regulations
Understanding of urban education challenges and student support
resources Ability to manage a caseload of up to 22 students
Full-time availability (35 hours/week) University transcripts
required prior to placement Remote interviews offered initially
