Job Description:
Build your career with the experienced engineers on the MAHLE
Powertrain team as you lead and deliver engine calibration projects
on engine dyno and in vehicle. This position could be in Plymouth
or Dearborn, MI.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and plan
Engine Calibration Development and Testing Prepare technical
reports, papers, and presentations Work closely with customers,
suppliers, and internal teams Maintain awareness of and meet the
requirements of the Company Quality System REQUIREMENTS Minimum 2
years' experience in powertrain calibration development, including
internships and co-op experience Experience with diesel engine
calibration Experience with engine dyno or in vehicle calibration
Detailed knowledge of internal combustion engines and testing
techniques -- diesel engine experience is preferable Ability to
adapt, integrate and work well with others is essential Bachelor's
Degree in related field Additional Preferred Skills: Knowledge of
MATLAB/Simulink analysis and simulation packages Experience with
Engine Management Systems (EMS) principles including the use of
calibration tools and processes Understanding of current powertrain
control system architectures Knowledge of legislative requirements
for OBD Experience working with Ford processes and facilities MAHLE
