The Opportunity

Williams International hasexciting opportunities forEngineers (Rotational)to join our Materials & Processes Department.

Williams International is seeking entry level Materials Science engineers to work at its world headquarters in Pontiac, Michigan. This position is a part of the engineering rotation program. Recent college graduates that enter Williams International's Materials & Processes Department can expect to spend approximately six months' time in each of two to three different engineering functions that focus on materials and processes as they relate to manufacturing, process/product development, or repair and overhaul. At the end of the rotations, the engineer is placed into a regular assignment within the Materials & Processes department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering
  • A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, preferred
  • One to two years of summer intern or co-op experience in an engineering environment is desirable
  • Other beneficial experience includes:
    • Conducting Failure Analysis
    • Hands-on Microscopy (light optical, SEM)
    • Process Development
    • Materials Characterization
    • U. S. citizenship is required
    • Position requires the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U. S.
