Description We are seeking a skilled Machinist responsible for
operating CNC machines in a job shop environment. You will
manufacture complex components with tight tolerances from small to
large sizes, adhering to strict quality and delivery deadlines.
On-the-job training will be provided as needed. Responsibilities
Perform advanced setup operations and adjust machine tools based on
provided programs. Adjust and check programming for accuracy.
Operate CNC machine tools to execute a series of complex machining
operations on diverse workpieces. Modify speeds and feeds during
operation to optimize performance. Work from programming
instructions and operational data to define and code tool
arrangements, material clamping methods, and machine calibrations.
Conduct operations such as boring, milling, drilling, facing,
threading, and occasional profiling and contouring. Check parts for
conformance to specifications. May operate multiple units
simultaneously. Perform multiple setups, offsets, and program edits
using G&M Codes. Complete one-piece jobs from print to finish,
including tool changes and maintaining multiple runs. Essential
Skills 4 years of experience in print-to-part machining using CNC
Mills or Lathes. 4 years of experience in editing or programming
G&M codes with controls such as Heidenhain, Siemens, Fanuc,
Mazak, or others. Proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T to
determine machinability per specifications. Additional Skills &
Qualifications Experience machining larger parts, 10,000 lbs or
more. Experience with Heidenhain or Siemens controls. Ability to
undertake new builds and projects regularly. Why Work Here? This is

job shop manufacturing floor, exposing employees to oil, dirt,
debris, fumes, moving machinery, and occasional high decibels. The
shop floor is climate-controlled, and PPE is required at all times.
There are openings on the 3rd shift (Monday to Thursday, 4:15 PM -
4:45 AM) with a 16% shift premium, and on the day shift (Monday to
Thursday, 6 AM to 4:30 PM) with a 30% shift premium. Employees will
work 48 hours a week with three days off and a 30-minute lunch
break. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position
based out of Saginaw, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this
position is $19.47 - $36.20/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to
some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length
of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to
