Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Float/Step Down/Med/Surg Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Med Surg License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Ability to float to Inpatient and Step-Down Units, Travel experience preferred Job Description: - Establishes a therapeutic relationship and creates a detailed plan of care with the patient and family, determining the most important aspects of care collaboratively. - Evaluates the effectiveness of plans and interventions to promote the optimum achievement of established goals. - Initiates and maintains open communication with other team members to ensure that the patient and family receive a full scope of interdisciplinary expertise and services with a coordinated and integrated plan of care. - Communicates effectively with patients, families, subordinate staff, and peers to ensure that plans and associated interventions are understood, operationalized, and revised as appropriate. - Works every other weekend.
