Job Description:
A pathology group in Southeast Michigan seeks
board-certified/eligible anatomic and clinical pathologists for
full-time positions to join our community practice. Our practice
serves three Henry Ford Providence hospitals and two independent
laboratories. Full-time candidates with fellowship training in
cytopathology, gastrointestinal pathology, hematopathology, or
other subspecialties are encouraged to apply. Partnership tract
opportunity is available.
About the position:
Practice averages 55K anatomic accessions per year
Southfield location is home base with expectations to also rotate
at Novi and Rochester
The department covers approximately 20 tumor boards/conferences per
month
AP/CP call
Infrequent autopsies
Opportunities for lab directorships possible
Opportunities for education possible
About the Hospitals:
Approximately 1000 beds covered
Approximately 40 operating rooms
Level II and III trauma centers
Strong residency/fellowship programs ( 250 residents and fellows)
leads to an interesting case mix
LabCorp affiliated
