Corewell Health is offering up to $1,500 as a sign on bonus for this opportunity!About The UnitThe Neuro Intermediate Care Unit is a 27 bed, Neuro focused intermediate care unit with emphasis on stroke, neuro surgical, craniotomies, EVDs, and neuro-intervention. Stroke Rapid Response Team. It is a Level II trauma center and has been recognized for clinical excellence and innovation in the fields of orthopedics, neurosciences, women's health, heart & vascular, and cancer care.Scope of workAssists licensed nursing staff in providing direct patient care and helps in the environmental maintenance of the nursing unit under the direction of the Registered Nurse and within the scope of defined practice. Provides for personal care and safety needs of patients promptly under the supervision of licensed nursing staff including specific procedures and patient testing addressed in the patient plan of care. Maintains an orderly unit environment with sufficient supplies and equipment in order to facilitate staff performance of patient care. Facilitates the admission, discharge, and transfer of patients on and off unit in accordance with established policies and procedures.How we will care for you, while you care for our patients

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
    • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
    • Previous hospital or nursing home experience Preferred
