Job Description LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg
for a travel nursing job in Detroit, Michigan. Job Description &
Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date:
07/22/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12
hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Notes: *13-week contract
with potential to extend* REQUIRED: Minimum 2-3 years Med Surg
experience, current MI RN licensure, BLS certification from AHA.
Candidates with previous travel experience are highly preferred.
Unit is a Med Surg unit that sees a lot of respiratory conditions
and some substance/alcohol abuse withdraw. They also see general
Med Surg patients, but the large portion will be respiratory
conditions. This unit is also the go to for patients needing
infectious isolation for respiratory conditions at this location.
Shift Hours: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM, 3x12s rotating schedule, every
other weekend required. Duties: Job Summary: Provides leadership in
the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient
care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning,
implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and
document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively
communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care
team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient
goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Skills: Required
Skills & Experience: -Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities
necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the
unit/department to which staff is assigned. -Ability to perform a
wide variety of professional nursing services. -Ability to
effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital
personnel. Education: Required Education: -Graduation from an
accredited school of nursing. Preferred Education: -Bachelor’s
degree in Nursing (BSN). Required Certification & Licensure:
-Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. -BLS
