Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 02/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: CT Technologist - CT Tech Job Details: • Coordinate and participate in all computerized tomography scanning procedures • Set up, monitor and operate complex computerized equipment for diagnostic purposes • Transfer and position patients utilizing accepted standards of safety and proper lifting techniques • Apply immobilization devices as necessary • Obtain vital information from patients concerning known allergies and pertinent medical history • Prepare and inject contrast media intravenously into appropriate patients as needed • Make and develop images for permanent file of each patient • Record all studies on magnetic tape for future reference • Organize daily patient schedule in cooperation with work-room technician • Maintain image quality following department guidelines • Perform daily calibration and quality control of equipment following department guidelines • Responsible for electronic/digital image capture, storage, transfer, and copy • Monitor patients for allergic reactions and take proper action as needed • Assist with emergency medical situations including providing basic CPR • Maintain cleanliness of working environment and ensure supplies are maintained • Work every other weekend schedule • Possible on-call responsibilities • 2 years of CT experience required • Phillips equipment experience required • Travel experience preferred • Required certifications: BLS, ARRT • Skills checklist completed within one year of application preferred Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical center with advanced imaging services and diagnostic capabilities.
