Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Step-down Unit (SDU) within the Intermediate Intensive Care Unit • Develop, coordinate and deliver care to critically ill patients from adolescent to geriatric age groups • Care for a wide variety of patient diagnoses including medical, surgical, cardiac and neurosurgical cases • Float to Step-down unit frequently as needed • Work every other weekend schedule • No on-call responsibilities • Maintain standards of professional nursing practice • Supervise CNA/SNA, LPN or other healthcare workers as assigned • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required • Travel experience preferred • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS • Michigan nursing license required with LARA and Nursys verification • Skills checklist completed within one year of application required Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical facility featuring an advanced Intermediate Intensive Care Unit that combines both ICU and step-down capabilities.
