Job Description:

As a member of the Information Security team, the Application Security Architect will provide leadership on matters relating to Application Security and will guide and provide our partners with the expertise needed to grow the business. This role will foster a culture of continuous delivery through performant, resilient and secure solutions. A grasp of application security principles and practices as well as experience working in an enterprise development environment are required.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:Build strong working relationships with our enterprise technology, application development, quality assurance and deployment teamsMaintain documentation related to application security including the maturity of secure coding policies, procedures and standards, and the Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) to include necessary security checkpoints and code review methodologiesImplement and manage training programs to train developers on secure code development practicesMentor team members to better understand application security disciplinesAttend design and application architectural reviews and actively lead discussions from a security standpointDetermine application security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirementsPlan, coordinate, and lead teams through the design, integration, development, validation and implementation of specific security policies, systems and servicesAlign standards, frameworks and security with overall business and technology strategyIdentify and communicate current and emerging application security threatsCreate solutions that balance business requirements with information security requirementsIdentify application security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancementsWHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:Must Have Qualifications:Strong level of software development experienceA strong passion for information securityExperience with Microsoft .NET FrameworkStrong leadership skills including experience in developing, documenting and establishing application security programs and best practicesUnderstanding of application threat modelling and SDL security practicesExperience with agile software development methodsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong critical thinking and analytical skillsFamiliarity with dynamic web application vulnerability scanning tools and servicesFamiliarity with static code analysis tools and servicesUnderstand different application types and the unique security threats each presentsNice to Have Qualifications:3-5 years of software development experiencePrior experience in an information security roleExpertise in mitigating and addressing technology or application threat vectorsExperience with Web Application FirewallsTHE PLACE & THE PERKS:Ready to join thousands of talented team members who are making the dream of home ownership possible for more Americans?
