Job Description Seeking Automotive Techs to work onsite at our Pontiac facility. Pay Rates: $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience. Shift: 6am-2:30pm, Mon-Fri We are looking for auto technicians to work on special event vehicles. Even small engine mechanics will be considered. This work includes, interior, exterior, chassis and powertrain. The work is NOT in a dealership or repair shop. These are all brand new show cars, special event vehicles and fleet vehicles. Description: The Automotive Technician position is primarily responsible for mechanical support for show and event vehicles used by customers of the Special Vehicles operation. The position requires following established practices and procedures to ensure quality performance to meet or exceed customer expectations. Essential job functions: Basic vehicle retrofit work. Maintain and repair vehicles. Perform vehicle and display tear down/build functions Perform vehicle evaluations and dynamic vehicle audits Candidates need to have their own tools, toolbox, and valid driver---s license.
