Job Description Job Description Overview Our client is seeking a senior-level Construction Transactional Associate with at least 10 years of experience to support and expand a nationally recognized construction law practice . This role is ideal for an experienced attorney who is comfortable handling sophisticated construction matters with minimal supervision and enjoys working in a collaborative, primarily remote environment. Practice Group Our client represents both public and private clients across all phases of the construction process. The team has decades of experience handling complex construction matters throughout California, the United States, and internationally. This role is primarily transactional , focusing on proactive risk management and project success outside of litigation. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of construction and design contracts , including: Owner-contractor agreements Design-build and design-bid-build contracts Subcontracts, consultant agreements, and vendor agreements Advise clients on project procurement and funding , including public works and private projects Counsel clients on bidding procedures, bid protests, and bid disputes Provide guidance on regulatory compliance and risk assessment Advise on performance and payment bonds, insurance coverage, and claims management Assist clients with contract enforcement, project administration, and early dispute resolution Collaborate with litigation attorneys as needed for dispute avoidance and pre-litigation strategy Serve as a trusted advisor to public entities, developers, contractors, and design professionals Experience & Qualifications Minimum 10 years of construction law experience , with a strong emphasis on transactional work Substantial experience with complex construction documentation and project advisory matters Experience representing public and/or private owners, contractors, and design professionals California Bar admission required; other state admissions a plus Strong drafting, negotiation, and client-management skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with a senior, sophisticated team Compensation & Work Environment $190,000 to $225,000 , depending on experience Primarily remote firm with flexibility for California-based attorneys Sophisticated practice with high-level matters and long-term client relationships Company Description Protouch Staffing is a trusted staffing partner specializing in connecting skilled professionals with top employers.
