Job Description:
Job Title: Production Supervisor General Description: The
Production Supervisor oversees daily production operations to
ensure output goals are met efficiently, safely, and with high
quality. This role focuses on optimizing processes, troubleshooting
issues, and developing a skilled and productive team through
effective coaching and training. Key Responsibilities: Supervise
shop floor employees and production processes. Plan, schedule, and
monitor daily production to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Identify areas for improvement in quality, efficiency, safety, and
overall production performance. Assign tasks and set up production
activities to ensure optimal team performance. Enforce safety
regulations and maintain a safe work environment. Troubleshoot
production problems and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
Analyze production data and take corrective actions as needed.
Identify training needs and coach/train team members to enhance
skills and performance. Prepare and maintain accurate daily
production reports and records. Communicate effectively with other
departments to support production goals. Participate in meetings,
performance reviews, and provide feedback to team members.
Motivate, lead, and promote discipline among the production team.
Follow company policies and safety procedures. Perform other duties
as required to support manufacturing operations.
Qualifications/Skills: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a
manufacturing supervisor role. Strong leadership and team
management skills. Excellent communication skills. Proficient in
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Strong
problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work in a
fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple
