Job Description:

The IT Coordinator's role is to ensure proper computer/device operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands-on help at the computer/device level. The IT Coordinator will also play a supporting roll in our active cadence of IT system improvement projects.--MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Helpdesk support--------------Field incoming help requests from end users via telephone, e-mail, instant message and our help-desk tool and respond in a timely, courteous manner--------------Build rapport and elicit problem details from our staff--------------Prioritize and schedule issue resolution, escalate problems when necessary--------------Record, track, and document help desk request in the help desk software through to final resolution--------------Learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by DP+--------------Develop help sheets and frequently asked questions lists for end users
Computer imaging and fleet maintenance--------------Setup user accounts, new computers and deploy them to users--------------Create and maintain images for our computer fleet--------------Help manage inventory through tracking tools--Other responsibilities--------------Assist the Sr. IT Manager with all projects--------------Performing preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning of workstations, printers, and peripherals--KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
--------------Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required--------------Ability to absorb and retain information quickly--------------Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language--------------Ability to follow detailed directions--------------Highly self-motivated and directed--------------Keen attention to detail--------------Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities--------------Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment--------------Exceptional customer service orientation--------------Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment--------------Knowledge of basic computer hardware--------------Knowledge of basic networking concepts--------------Working knowledge of Microsoft Office--------------Experience with computer imaging software such as Acronis or Macrium--------------Experience Supporting users on Windows 10 and Mac OS X--------------Experience supporting Windows servers is a plus--------------Extensive application support experience--------------Good understanding of the organization's goals and objectives--------------Exceptional written and oral communication skills--------------Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills--------------Strong documentation skills--------------A passion for learning and technology

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field or currently working toward a bachelor's degree
  • 0-2 years' experience in an office environment
  • Marketing or Agency experience is a plus
