The Propulsion Program Management Senior Specialist will be
responsible for carryover and future Propulsion programs, ensuring
key quality milestones/goals are met for all supplier components.
Program responsibilities are in the area of engine systems. The
Program Management Senior Specialist will manage all aspects of the
Advance Supplier Operations functions as it pertains to the
propulsion project from concept creation to launch. The Senior
Specialist will work cross functionally with Engineering,
Manufacturing, Corporate Quality, Purchasing, and Suppliers to
ensure a quality launch. This person will lead process readiness
assessment activities, develop and present program status and
readiness updates as well as articulate open issues and risk
mitigation plans to senior leadership (Industrial Heads, etc.). In
addition, the Senior Specialist will manage the launch support in
the plant, and work with Supplier Operations Engineers globally to
ensure the vehicle and propulsion system is ready at each build
Key Roles & Responsibilities for Powertrain Product Team:
Manage Supplier Operations activities for purchased parts by
Single-point Supplier Operations contact for plant and program
Manage Supplier Operations program reporting requirements for
program reviews that include PFMEA, TKO, PDR, PPAP, and overall
supplier readiness and risk.
Manage Program Risk Assessment updates.
Participate in Platform Team Meetings, Change Review Board
Meeting and related FEW/GIMs and Warranty/Quality Improvement
Facilitate key component and focus supplier reviews.
Facilitate safe launch strategies and problem resolution
Facilitate early sourcing process and supplier selection.
