Job DescriptionTOOL COORDINATOR Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Tool Control Coordinator to join their Manufacturing team. This position supports manufacturing and is responsible for the physical and systematic control of tooling for all production operations.RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review, revise, and create tool order forms inside PV
• Forecast future need of Make vs Buy tools by working with Team Leads to determine production needs and capacity to hold tooling
• Coordinate with purchasing on Buy tool PO's
• Follow up on the material ordering and fabrication of Make tools
• Create purchase requisitions inside IMS, monitor progress of requisition ensuring their timely release from purchasing to suppliers
• Receive all incoming tools, mark tools as required for government owned, and deliver tools to the appropriate manufacturing cells
• Responsible for the reordering of tools, conducting inventory counts, and supplying proper locations for tools
• Support customer audits for tooling property auditsQUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associates Degree in MFG or Business or 5 year working in MFG with tooling
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience with TeamCenter and IMS is preferred
  • SAP experience is a plus
  • Fork Lift experience required
  • Physical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches).
