Job Description:

Under close supervision, responsible for the day-to-day activities of a small number of Patient Service Representatives who initiate insurance verifications and provide other patient assistance services. Utilizes Experience based knowledge in order to function as a resource person for Patient Service Representatives, resolve complex and/or sensitive problems, review and recommend changes in departmental policies and procedures and so forth. As workload permits, performs many of the duties of a Patient Services Representative.**Responsibilities:**1.Functions as a lead or resource person for assigned personnel.Assigns and reviews work, assists in orientation and training of new employees, and monitors productivity of staff.2.Audits work of Patient Services Representatives to ensure completeness and accuracy.Contributes to the evaluation of staff under the direction of management.3.Works with other departments to resolve problems associated with the transfer of patient information.4.Compiles various reports and statistics for management, as requested.Completes special projects or assignments, as assigned.5.Performs all of the duties of a Patient Services Representative on a regular basis.1.High school diploma orequivalent.2.Two to three years of progressivelymore responsible experience as a Patient Services Representative or equivalenteducation and experience.Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities/Females/Disabled/Veterans
