Job Title: Quality Inspector

Reports To: Production Manager



Summary: The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing layout inspection on product, fixtures, and tools.



Responsibilities:

• Perform layout inspection on product, fixtures or tools as required
  
• Communicate any drawing discrepancies and/or deficiencies to Engineering
  
• Evaluates all completed programs to validate their functions and ensure they successfully reduce time and money for the detail
  
• Provide accurate time reporting for assigned activities through the ERP system
  
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and practice good housekeeping by keeping area & equipment clean
  
• All other duties as assigned
  
  
  
  
  Requirements:
  
  
  
• 2+ years of work related experience
  
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  
• Experience with PCDIMS & Polyworks preferred
  
• Ability to accurately and reliably use various precision hand gauges and testing equipment
  
• Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints and apply Geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T) as is intended
  
• Attention to Detail
  
• Strong written and oral communication skills
  
• High regard for safety standards
  
  
  
  
  Work Environment: This position operates in both an office and a plant environment, may be required to work at multiple facilities dependent on workload.
  
  
  
  Physical Demands: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and twist. Frequently required to lift/push/pull up to 25lbs.
  
  
  
  Expected Hours of Work: This position regularly requires daily overtime hours and frequent weekend work.
  
  
  
  Travel: This position may require some out of town and overnight travel, up to 10%.
