This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys working directly with customers, delivering thoughtful design solutions, and closing high-quality retail sales. You will guide customers through flooring selections while providing a polished, consultative experience through the entire sales process. Key Responsibilities Welcome and assist customers in a retail showroom environment Consult with customers on flooring selections that fit their style, space, and budget Sell hardwood, luxury vinyl, tile, laminate, and carpet Present products confidently and professionally Prepare accurate quotes and proposals Follow up on active projects, quotes, and customer inquiries Close sales and build long-term customer relationships Coordinate with install teams to support successful installations Qualifications Sales experience in flooring Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional demeanor and customer-focused approach Comfortable working with pricing, measurements, and product specifications Organized, dependable, and motivated to perform Design experience is a plus, but not required What We Offer Established showroom with consistent customer traffic Quality product lines and 60 year strong brand reputation Structured sales process and training support Base pay plus uncapped commission Paid time off and benefits Long-term career opportunity with growth potential
