the leading provider of behavioral health and substance use
disorder services in Northwest Ohio. Services include adult and
child psychiatric, substance abuse, case management, residential,
Crisis Care, and therapy programs, as well as career development
and wellness services. Zepf Center also offers primary care medical
services to our patients to contribute to their continuum of care.
Zepf Center is a trauma-informed agency and environment for both
patients and staff. We are currently seeking a full-time
Maintenance Crew Leader . The Maintenance Crew Leader is
responsible for managing a small crew by prioritizing projects,
assigning work tasks, using and keeping equipment inventory, and
maintaining a daily log. Monitoring work quality and work schedules
will be a requirement, along with ensuring crew safety, training
employees, and providing performance feedback. This employee leads
and participates in a variety of preventative and emergency
maintenance projects as assigned by the Facilities Manager. This
individual will be responsible for all aspects of the maintenance
and physical condition of the buildings and grounds of all Zepf
properties. This position is not limited to only maintenance
responsibilities. By the very nature of maintenance, this
individual must be a flexible and independent worker with
initiative and highly responsive in addressing any maintenance
projects that are brought to the attention of the Department
Manager or are discovered by employees. On-call responsiveness may
be required in case of emergencies including snow removal.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prioritize projects, assign
work tasks to crew members, procure required materials, file, and
obtain work logs. Lead crew and participate in picking up all trash
on the grounds and parking lots, cleaning any spills or broken
glass, weed removal, trimming bushes and trees, washing windows,
leaf collection, selected grass mowing, and all other related
duties as directed. Lead crew, participate, and assign the
following duties: vacuuming, mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing
floors, and assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness of the
facility and grounds. Instruct employee in all proper work methods
and standards, monitor work quality and procedures regarding
safety. Handle the coordination of inspections and certification of
equipment. Assist in the documentation and implementation of
regularly scheduled fire, tornado, and other emergency drills.
Responsible for the organization, upkeep, inventory, security, and
maintaining all facility equipment and tools. Responsible for
ensuring the workshop is kept neat and always organized. Perform
carpentry work including drywall, carpet, and tile laying. Ability
to perform minor plumbing and electrical maintenance. Ability to
perform boiler operations – upkeep, operation, inspection,
cleanliness, and maintenance of boilers. Ability to maintain
confidentiality regarding patient’s identity. The ability and
willingness to apply appropriate judgement and care in the
performance of maintenance. Professional, respectful, and timely
communication amount all department employees and managers. Attend
all mandatory staff meetings and complete all mandatory staff
training requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Required. Associates
degree or HVAC trade certification preferred. Minimum 3 years
maintenance experience. Knowledge of required OSHA safety trainings
and procedures. Valid driver’s license and insurance. Those
eligible to drive company vehicles must have a valid driver's
license and be eligible for coverage as defined by the agency
commercial insurance carrier. Those who drive personal vehicles in
the course of business must be able to provide proof of insurance.
